0006: Blue Pepper

I'd never seen anything like it. And as a xenobiologist that was saying something. Contrary to the wildest expectations it seemed alien planets and species all followed the Darwinian Funnel: First bio soup then bio sphere full of carbon based Fauna and Flora.

This blue pepper was different though. Not only was the colour atypical, you couldn't record it in any way. You could talk about it, write about it and mention it's colour, but otherwise any photo you took, any sketch you drew just came out... wrong.

It's fascinating to think about.
